Morgan Mannweiler is a psychology extern at MindWell NYC. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and parent management training (PMT).

Morgan Mannweiler is a psychology extern at MindWell NYC. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and parent management training (PMT). Morgan has interest in and experience treating anxiety, obsessions and compulsions, specific phobias, disruptive behavior, and inattention and hyperactivity. Through evidence-based treatments, Morgan helps children, adolescents, and their parents build coping skills that can be leveraged throughout their lives.

Prior to joining MindWell NYC, Morgan completed an internship at the Penn State Psychological Clinic, where she was part of an interdisciplinary team providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and their parents. In addition, Morgan completed a practicum and internship at a non-profit community organization in Gainesville, Florida, where she provided mental health services to children and their families.

Morgan’s doctoral research examines the importance of academic and social emotional school readiness on future well-being and the role that parents play in fostering these competencies.

Morgan earned her M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Penn State University and M.Ed. and Ed.S. in Mental Health Counseling and B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Penn State University.
