Prior to joining MindWell NYC, Dr. Bromberg completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the Center for Cognitive and Dialectical Therapy where she trained extensively in DBT, CBT, trauma focused therapy, and family therapy. She completed her APA accredited pre-doctoral internship at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center (LMMHC) in the South Bronx where she worked with individuals across the lifespan in several capacities: outpatient clinics, integrated primary care settings, crisis triage services and psychological consultation on inpatient medical units. Dr. Bromberg has had externships and work experience at the 3East Partial Hospitalization Program at McLean Hospital, the Behavioral Health College Partnership at The Zucker Hillside Medical Center and Cognitive Behavioral Associates, Jewish Child Care Association (JCCA), and Pride Healing Center at LIU Post, an LGBTQ affirming clinic.
In addition to therapeutic work, Dr. Bromberg is passionate about disseminating psychological information to community populations and has experiencing consulting to elementary schools, law school staff, and providing trainings on topics such as emotion regulation skills and vicarious trauma. Dr. Bromberg received her Psy.D. and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University, C.W. Post, and her B.A. in Clinical Psychology from Tufts University.
