Adult Trauma Intensive

Trauma is not uncommon. In fact, about 70% of people will experience a traumatic event in their lifetime and about 1 in 6 people will experience symptoms of PTSD. If you have had traumatic experiences, or are considering starting trauma treatment, MindWell’s summer trauma intensive may be helpful for you. Some of the things you can expect to learn in the group are:

* How trauma impacts the brain and body
* How trauma impacts thoughts, behaviors, and feelings
* How to sit with difficult emotions 
* How to begin to build your life & identity outside of trauma

• Ages: 18+ welcome
• 6 sessions over the course of 2 weeks in October
• 10am-12pm
• Led by Dr. Rebecca Berger
