MindWell NYC is offering an 8-week DBT Intensive Workshop to make the most of your summer and learn skills to help you build the life you want to live. ​

  • Ages: 18-25 welcome
  • 3x/week for 90 minutes

Learn Skills to Help Manage Your Mindset

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment that helps people learn skills to live a satisfying and meaningful life. One of the components of DBT is a skills class or group, which involves learning mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. The intensive workshop will run through these skills modules to boost your mental health.

What To Expect

We plan to meet 3 times a week for 90 minutes at the MindWell NYC office in Chelsea. You will have a workbook with handouts and practice worksheets so you can learn and practice the skills and we will  work through modules on mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness

At MindWell NYC, we will work with you and your family to create a DBT program focused on the areas of your life that you want to improve. All of our clinicians have been intensively trained in DBT, with years of experience, knowledge, and appreciation for the treatment and benefits DBT can bring to clients’ lives.

MindWell NYC does not bill health insurance directly. We are happy to provide you with statements at the end of the month which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement as per your plan.
